Location: Sutton Office (Monday-Friday in office, option to work from home on some days)

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and confident communicator to join our growing team as a Partnerships Coordinator at our Sutton office. In this role, you will engage with schools, colleges, universities, and community groups interested in our volunteering and internship programs. You will deliver compelling presentations, support prospective volunteers, and provide fundraising guidance to help them embark on their meaningful journey abroad. You will be responsible to bringing in new business and partnerships for the company.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about travel, volunteering, and international development, and who enjoys building relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, community organizations, and youth groups interested in volunteering with Volunteering Solutions.
  • Support the Business Manager in achieving recruitment targets and company growth objectives.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and information sessions to prospective volunteers and their families.
  • Act as a brand ambassador at educational fairs, networking events, and exhibitions.
  • Provide fundraising support to volunteers through virtual workshops, one-on-one guidance, and fundraising materials.
  • Manage incoming inquiries, arrange initial meetings, and maintain regular communication with prospective volunteer groups.
  • Work towards personal recruitment targets.
  • Undertake additional tasks as required to support the overall success of the company.

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role - Required

  • Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office, Google Workspace - Required
  • Experience with using Social Media - Required
  • Experience with using CRM software - (Desirable)
  • Driving License (Desirable)
  • Experience in the travel, charity, or education sector (Desirable)
  • Passion for international volunteering, travel, and education (Desirable)

Program Advisor (Full Time Role)

 

Part of the Sales team, Program advisors are the single point of contact for our potential customers. We are looking for an energetic, self motivated and passionate candidate for our U.K. office to join the sales team in the role of program advisor. You will be fully responsible for getting the initial application as well as helping the customers decide an appropriate volunteering program and destination and make a final program booking. Upon which the customers are handed over to overseas operations team with whom you will be working closely.

Beneficial Skills

  • Previous Sales and Marketing experience
  • Strong grasp on written and verbal communication
  • Self motivated and able to work without much supervision

  • An avid traveller or travel enthusiast will be an advantage
  • Must have strong integrity and work ethics
  • Spanish Knowledge
  • Knowledge of working with CRM
  • Confident in delivering presentations to a variety of audiences and enthusiastic manner face-to-face and over the phone
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Able to continuously improve through feedback.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Outlook.

 

Education Skills
