Overview

Be a volunteer for the Early years childcare support program in Kathmandu, Nepal and render invaluable support to the little kids who live underprivileged lives. These little ones yearn for love, guidance and care. Be a part of their foundation and help make their future bright.

Participants are placed at a school/daycare facility within a bigger school which aims to educate underprivileged children belonging to parents who beg on the streets or go for daily labour to fend their families one day at a time. The children are generally aged between 3 - 6 years who look forward to a day of love, care and learning.

Typical work day involves playing with the children, singing nursery rhymes, telling stories, making crafts, feeding, helping to clean up, toilet training, teaching English letters and numbers and basic English studies. If you are keen to strengthen the foundation of these disadvantaged children and be a part of their future, this is a perfect program for you.
