Overview

Being a volunteer for the Street Children Program in New Delhi, you can make a difference in the lives of these underprivileged kids, who are mostly street dwellers and living in slum communities in Delhi.

Volunteers work at different shelter homes for street children in and around New Delhi as well as Non Formal education centers for the children living in slum communities.

Volunteers assist in providing love, care, basic literacy, recreation and most importantly spend time and shower affection on them. Volunteer Work in the Children Program consists of taking informal education classes with the children, playing games with the children and introducing them to different new activities such as music, arts and crafts.

This is by far one of our most popular program options for the participants as it gives them a great amount of flexibility to improvise and work with kids. The children always welcome and look forward to meeting volunteers to give them a unique exposure which instills in them a sense of belonging and positive feelings which go a long way in the development of their personalities.

Volunteers can help them with creative learning games, different lesson plans and some other useful teaching methods which can surely bridge the gap between volunteers and kids.

A perfect volunteer program for high school & college students, families as well as gap year travelers, one can join this meaningful journey and contribute effectively towards the well being of these kids and shower them with utmost love and care, that they deserve
