1. Visit to the Amber Fort

One of the principal attractions of the city, Amber (Amer) fort is known for its artistic Hindu architecture. 2. City Palace, Jaipur

9. Day trip to Pushkar

Although this requires an extra day but can be quickly arranged. Pushkar is small Rajasthani sub-urban town known for its temples, deserts and camel fairs. Particularly recommended for visits during the winters.

 

10. Elephant Camps

Elephant Tourism is quite popular in Jaipur. Although it faces criticism at times, but it is helpful for the poor families of mahouts and also elephants as they get proper food and shelter in the camps. Volunteers get a special day at these camps to work for the wonderful and friendly animals along with the local families.

 

11. Jaigarh Fort

Relatively unknown, the Jaigarh fort in Jaipur is close to Maota Lake and Amer fort. A good place to click pictures, explore and have small picnic in. Can be visited after a thorough exploration of the Amer Fort.
