The Republic of Malawi is located in South Eastern Africa, bordered by Mozambique to the south and east, Tanzania to the north and Zambia to the west. Malawi is also described as the “Warm Heart of Africa”, for the friendliness of its people.Lake Nyasa, the third largest lake in Africa is located partly in Malawi.The Lake covers around 20 % of Malawi’s area.

Malawi is one of the poorest countries of the world with nearly half of its 12 million population living on less than $1 a day. Our Malawi volunteer programs aim to make a difference - especially in the lives deprived and neglected children. We have volunteer projects in and around Blantyre city of Malawi.
